Will Smith is such a light hearted, funny guy, but when this reporter tried to give him a kiss ? on the lips ? the West Philadelphia part of him came out a little bit. He shoved the guy away and then hit him in the face asking him what his problem was. It was actually a little bit out of character for the actor, who has won the NAACP Image Award at least once. Michael Jackson Doctor Can’t Afford Lawyer For Appeal
Conrad Murray asks judge for a court-appointed attorney to appeal his involuntary manslaughter conviction.

<P>Just weeks after being sent to jail for <a href="/news/articles/1675062/conrad-murray-sentence.jhtml">four years</a> following a conviction on a felony involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jackson_michael/artist.jhtml" target="_blank">Michael Jackson</a>, cardiologist Conrad Murray is throwing himself on the mercy of the court.</P><P>The doctor had been slated to earn up to $150,000 a month to act as Jackson's personal physician before the pop icon's death in June 2009 from an overdose of the Murray-administered surgical anesthetic propofol. But on Tuesday <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/conrad_murray_in_shackles_asks/280479" target="_blank"><I>E! News</I></a> reported that Murray filed a <a href="/news/articles/1675343/conrad-murray-conviction-appeal.jhtml">notice of appeal</a> in Los Angeles Superior Court in which he claimed that he is "indigent and respectfully requests the appointment of counsel on appeal."</P><P>Murray, 58, is planning to appeal both his conviction and his sentence, but has not yet filed papers with the California Appeals Court. He had hired two lawyers to handle his manslaughter case, but is now seeking attorneys with appeal experience. One of those former lawyers, J. Michael Flanagan, told E! that he was shocked at how his client is being treated in jail.</P><P>"It is crazy and unbelievable how [the sheriffs] are treating" Murray in jail, said Flanagan, who claimed he waited over an hour to see Murray, who was brought out in handcuffs and leg chains. Flanagan was further shocked to see Murray handcuffed to the table for their meeting, something the lawyer said he'd never seen before in the case of a low-level, non-violent offender.</P><P>Charles Peckham, who is handling civil cases against Murray, told the <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/doctor-convicted-in-michael-jacksons-death-seeking-court-paid-attorney-for-appeal/2011/12/13/gIQAHIYGsO_story.html" target="_blank"><I>Associated Press</I></a> that his client is under tight security and isolation that is more intense than other inmates at the Los Angeles Men's Central Jail.</P><P>"Treating him like Hannibal Lecter is offensive," said Peckham. "This man who saved lives made a mistake, and they're going to [make] him pay like a mass-murderer." Sheriff's officials defended the tight security, saying it was for Murray's safety.</p>

With book-to-film adaptations being all the rage these days, people just can’t seem to stop talking about the latest hot-button page-turner and best-seller “Fifty Shades of Grey.” And with the big-screen version of the saucy, S&M-heavy tale on the way, we’re doing our best here at MTV News to keep abreast of the latest developments in casting, along with attempts to round up a list of celebrity fans.
When we caught up with in-the-know reality TV superstars Kim and Khloe Kardashian recently, ahead of the premiere of the new season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” we asked the sisters for their thoughts on the book and its rise to popularity within the pop-culture zeitgeist. Both ladies apparently have a lot of reading to do.
“[I haven't read it] but everyone talks about it,” Khloe said. “My grandmother MJ read the first one and said she couldn’t put it down. Now she’s on the second one. My grandmother!” Khloe added. “Sexy!” Kim also has yet to read the entire story, but admitted to letting her curiosity get the best of her during a recent plane ride that involved reading over a stranger’s shoulder.
“There was someone reading it on their Kindle on the plane [in the seat] in front of me and they were a little older so the font was huge,” Kim recalled. “I was bored so I was like leaning forward and reading a full chapter.”
“I heard it’s a great book,” Khloe chimed in.
“It’s racy,” Kim said.
“Grandmothers gotta live too,” Khloe said with a smile.

Far East Movement Drop ‘Unexpected’ Track With Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz
‘If I Die Tomorrow,’ off FM’s May 22 release, Dirty Bass, is ‘a song about losing yourself.’

Ever wondered what it would sound like if the Far East Movement enlisted Tokio Hotel‘s glammy, gothy lead singer Bill Kaulitz for a track? Well, wonder no more, because now we have “If I Die Tomorrow.”
The collaboration, which dropped Friday (May 18), leans more on FM’s love for partying than Kaulitz’s love for rocking. While FM rap all about bumping trunks, killing bottles and going crazy in the club, Kaulitz, in full auto-tuned, falsetto mode, proclaims, “If I die tomorrow, that means we had the night of our lives/ If tomorrow never comes, then tonight we lose control.”
“If I Die Tomorrow” is off FM’s new album, Dirty Bass, out May 22. When MTV News caught up with Far East Movement recently, Kev Nish told us that fans will see plenty of “unexpected collaborations” like this on the upcoming album.
“When we first signed to Cherrytree [Records], we went on the website and see who’s on the roster … and we saw Tokio Hotel, and we were like ‘Yo, this band is wild,’ ” Nish said of working with the Musical March Madness winner and Tokio Hotel’s leading man. “We were on a bus watching them on the MTV Europe Awards, winning, and we were like, ‘We need to do a song with those dudes.’
“So we got in with Bill Kaulitz and we just wanted to do a song about losing yourself, about possibly losing your mind, because you might die the next day,” he added.
The album also features Justin Bieber on the song “Live My Life.” The same day the album drops, the group also kicks off their tour with the kings of party rocking, LMFAO.

Pop singer sings ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right’ for Amnesty International anniversary album.

<P>It's hard to associate <a href="/music/artist/_kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> with songs about anything other than hot guys, body glitter and partying. But she's defying her usual topics of interest for human rights organization Amnesty International. The singer is one of the many musicians on the org's <i>Chimes of Freedom</i> compilation of Bob Dylan's music, out January 24.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ke$ha Calls Bob Dylan Cover Choice 'An Accident'" id="vid:720838" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>When MTV News spoke with K-Dollar Sign last week about her <a href="/news/articles/1676172/kesha-sleazy-remix.jhtml">all-star remix of "Sleazy,"</a> she also opened up about switching gears vocally and emotionally for her version of Dylan's classic "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right."</P><P>"I mean, I think it's pretty well known that he's one of, if not my most, favorite artists of all time and … one of the most amazing lyricists as well — the original storyteller," she explained. "So I love Bob Dylan and this was just, like, a dream. When they asked me to do a cover, I was just, like, salivating and going through all my records. It was so fun. It was the best homework assignment you could possibly have."</P><P>K's version of Dylan's song is a slow-burning, heartbreaking ode to the already heartbreaking classic, where she channels Dylan through lyrics like "Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say/ To try and make me change my mind and stay/ We never did too much talkin' anyway/ So don't think twice, it's all right."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="What Is The Biggest Perk Of Being A Headliner?" id="vid:642810" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>Ke$ha had originally intended to record another Dylan track, but when she heard that someone else had their sights set on it, she settled on "Don't Think Twice," prompting a catharsis she could never have imagined.</P><P>"This song was kind of an accident. I sat down and this is the first take that I ever sang," she recalled. "I just sat down on my bed for the first time after months of being on tour and I just started crying, and it was kind of like an emotional purging, and you can hear it on the record."</P><P>In addition to Ke$ha and her contribution, the album will feature 75 other Dylan classics recorded by nearly 80 artists including Adele, Miley Cyrus, "Glee" star Darren Criss, My Chemical Romance, Evan Rachel Wood and Sugarland. The album pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.</p>

Brightening up the UK scenery, a red hot Kim Kardashian was back in promotional mode as she stepped out in London earlier today (May 18).
Joined by rapper beau Kanye West, the E! reality star took to the Debenhams department store on Oxford Street to showcase her latest fragrance ‘True Reflection’ – of which she tweeted to her millions of followers, “Glamming it up with @robscheppy for my big fragrance launch today at Debenhams!!! #TrueReflection”
Previously talking with WWD about the scent, Kim denied rumors that the inspiration behind her new perfume was her failed marriage with ex-husband Kris Humphries.
?That is definitely a part of who I am, but that is not what the fragrance is about at all,? she said, adding, ?It is about overcoming things and letting your true self come out.?
Continuing to dish about her beauty offering, the 31-year-old explained, ?This fragrance is different because it really changes on your body. When you spray it, it keeps on evolving, and you want to keep smelling it to figure out what that really is.?

Freida Pinto is a Cannes “Desert Dancer”
Getting the third day of the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival underway, Freida Pinto took over the spotlight at Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France on Friday (May 18).
The lovely Indian actress joined alongside castmate Reece Ritchie for a photocall for their upcoming U.K. produced project titled “Desert Dancer”.
Freida and Reece were also accompanied by the film’s subject matter, Afshin Ghaffarian, who’s an Iranian man who risked his life by going against his country’s ban on dancing to pursue the art in which he loved.
The ‘Desert Dancer’ photocall comes after a busy previous day for Miss Pinto, as the “Slumdog Millionaire” actress glammed up the red carpet of the “Rust and Bone” premiere while partying the night away on Orange Beach during a L’Oreal hosted soiree.

"I would love to do a Michael Jackson episode," Amber Riley told MTV News at the time. "You know, it's so many [songs that I love], but my favorite song by him is 'Human Nature.' I love that song."</P><P>While Riley seemed psyched about the opportunity, castmate Jenna Ushkowitz found the possibility a little more daunting. "That's a scary, scary episode to do," she said. ‘Terminator’ Actor Nick Stahl Reported Missing
Star of ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines’ has not been heard from since May 9, his wife told L.A. officials.

“Terminator: Rise of the Machines” actor Nick Stahl has been reported missing. Los Angeles law enforcement officials confirmed to TMZ that Stahl’s wife, Rose Murphy, reported her husband missing on Monday, saying that the last time she saw the 32-year-old was on May 9.
Sources told the website that Stahl had been displaying some erratic behavior recently and was allegedly spending time in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles. The source also expressed concern that the actor might have become involved in some questionable activities.
This is not the first time, however, that those close to the actor have expressed concern over his well-being. Stahl’s wife filed papers with the LA County Superior Court back in February asking a judge to limit her husband’s access to their 2-year-old daughter Marlo due to his alleged drug and alcohol abuse. She also claimed that she and Stahl were no longer living together.
There has been no word from Stahl’s reps regarding his whereabouts, but Stahl’s wife has been relatively active on her Twitter account, posting a general thank you for support early Wednesday (May 16). “Thank you for kind words,” she tweeted.

A quick look at Stahl’s Twitter account shows that the actor has been inactive since May 1, but that he and Murphy might have been working through their problems since the actor tweeted on April 26 that they were not actually separated.

Why ‘The X Factor’ Should Try Playing Hard-To-Get
The FOX show’s very long and public search for judges is making it look desperate.

<P>On Wednesday (May 2) we learned that <a href="/news/articles/1684289/demi-lovato-x-factor-judge-miley-cyrus.jhtml">Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne and Miley Cyrus</a> are all being courted as possible replacements for Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger on "The X Factor" judging panel.</P><P>But don't get your knickers in a twist — "The X Factor" originated in Britain, after all — <a href="/news/articles/1680782/britney-spears-x-factor-judge-offer.jhtml">Britney Spears is reportedly</a> still in the game too, though reports that she "insisted on various perks that have bogged down negotiations" are floating around.</P><P>So to be clear, Britney might still be in, Demi is close to a deal and Miley and Avril are on the table. A few months ago, we could have replaced the Demi with Janet Jackson and Miley with Mariah Carey. And prior to her tragic passing in February, Whitney Houston was also being considered for the panel, according to remaining judges <a href="/news/articles/1679472/american-idol-voice-x-factor-simon-cowell.jhtml"> L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell</a>.</P><P>Never before has the casting process for a reality television show judge been so exhaustingly long and public. Sure, before Jennifer Lopez signed on to "American Idol" there were rumors that she was being pursued, but no public statements were made until she had signed on the dotted line. And while the constant stream of potential candidates being leaked to the press or talked about openly by Reid or Cowell may itself be a negotiation technique — most likely to try to ambush Spears into signing on for fear of being replaced — is also doing something <i>very</i> specific to the troubled signing competition.</P><P>It is making "The X Factor" look desperate. <i>Really</i> desperate.</P><P>With the FOX upfronts just two weeks away and filming on the production scheduled to begin early this summer, it's not exactly encouraging that the show cannot secure above-the-title talent. An upfront is a showcase hosted at the start of important advertising sales periods by network executives, and they are attended by the press and, more importantly, major advertisers.</P><P>"The X Factor" is a costly show for FOX, and the deal on the table for Spears, <a href="/news/articles/1682881/britney-spears-x-factor-deal.jhtml">reported to be $15 million per season</a>, certainly isn't bringing the budget down. Watching the never-ending parade of potential judges unfurl and then walk away — and keep in mind that the show is also casting about for two hosts to replace Steve Jones — cannot be serving the show well with eagle-eyed advertisers watching closely to see where their money will be best spent.</P><P>Conducting contract negations so publicly is always a risky endeavor, but in this specific case, "The X Factor" has backed itself into a corner. The show looked silly when talks with music legends Jackson and Carey fell through after <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/02/17/janet-jackson-x-factor-rumors-perfect-fit-for-show/">so much public discussion</a>, and in making the details of Spears' deal public and then failing to (at this point) lock her in, execs at "The X Factor" look borderline inept.</P><P>There's been some discussion that by tossing Miley, Avril and Demi's names into the ring, the show is trying to make Spears seem replaceable and get her to back down on her alleged "various perks."</P><P>It's a dirty way to conduct business and ultimately doesn't speak well of what is going on behind the scenes in the show's search for its new panelists. If that is indeed the case, it's like the show is grasping at straws. And that's not the best look when you are walking into the FOX upfronts seeking advertisers on the heels of an underperforming first season.</p>

Jason Biggs: TIME Magazine’s “Are You Wife Enough” Spoof
He’s already spoofed the KONY 2012 founder’s meltdown earlier this year and now Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen have reenacted one of the most controversial magazine covers to hit the stands.
On Sunday (May 16), the couple paid tribute to Mother’s Day and the controversial TIME magazine cover that released last week by showing off a Twitter pic of Jason breastfeeding from his wife with a caption reading, “Are you wife enough?”
The phrase is meant to mock the mag cover that reads “Are you mom enough?” as Jamie Lynne Grumet is seen breastfeeding her three-year-old son. The controversial photo was meant to bring awareness to attachment parenting.
Whether or not the real photo made a positive or negative impact on the parenting method, it’s sure making a headline wave around the world!

‘American Idol’ Top Three Battle For Ticket To Finale

With “We’ve Got Tonight,” Phillip Phillips may have punched his ticket to next week’s “American Idol” finale.
Phillips’ performance at the close of Wednesday’s (May 16) episode stole the show and earned a standing ovation from the judges. All night, Randy Jackson spoke of having big “moments,” and Phillips’ gentle take on the Bob Seger classic definitely qualified as one of those performances.
“That was the perfect song at the perfect time and your best performance on the show ever!” Jackson told Phillips after the song. Jennifer Lopez said it was like a “lullaby,” and Steven Tyler said he “nailed it” and praised him for his passion during the song.
Phillips’ “We’ve Got Tonight” came at the end of a two-hour show that saw the contestants visiting their hometowns and being treated like returning heroes. The episode also saw Joshua Ledet retain his momentum, while Jessica Sanchez slipped a bit, proving it may be tough for her to make it to the final two.
Contestants sang three songs each: One chosen by the judges, one of their own choosing and one picked by Jimmy Iovine.
Ledet opened the show with Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind,” which also earned a standing ovation from the judges. (Not surprising, they picked the song.) “Out of 70,000, there’s only one American Idol. And you sang like that one tonight,” Tyler told Ledet after the song. He followed it with John Lennon’s “Imagine,” dubbed “brilliant” (by Jackson) and “controlled” (by Lopez) and finished with Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama,” his suggestion from Iovine. It was another hit.
“You have this perfect marriage of knowing exactly what you’re doing and letting completely go at the same time,” Lopez told him after his unkempt performance, which saw him dramatically remove his jacket, as well as his in-ear monitors. “There’s spontaneity, you don’t know what’s going to happen, but you know it’s going to be out of this world.”
Sanchez’s up-and-down night was typified by Jackson’s critiques: He called her version of Mariah Carey’s “My All” “one of the best times a Mariah song has ever been performed on TV,” but later said her version of Jackson Five’s “I’ll Be There” — also once memorably performed by Mariah — was only “OK.” “There was never a moment-moment. It’s like, you know, I mean, it needed like a moment-moment-moment.” (In Jackson-speak, that means she didn’t quite deliver.)
Sandwiched between the two, she took on Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” which is more than a little familiar to one of the three judges. Tyler rose to his feet afterwards, telling her she “took a great song and made it greater,” while Lopez called it “crazy” (in a good way). And Jackson? “Dude, you delivered, man, yo, whoa, I’m like yo, all right, all right.” Our thoughts exactly, Randy.
Phillips closed so strong it hardly mattered what came before. (Voters have short attention spans, you see.) After his first song, Madcon’s “Beggin’,” Tyler said Phillips “could be a new Springsteen,” while Jackson commented he felt he was at a Phil Phillips concert. All three judges agreed his middle performance of Matchbox Twenty’s “Disease” was underwhelming, but by his home-run song was a performance all but forgotten.
One of the performers is headed home — this time not in a good way — on Thursday’s episode, which is also set to feature a performance by Adam Lambert.

After getting the ax from “Dancing with the Stars” last night, Maria Menounos spent her birthday morning by making an appearance on “Good Morning America” with dance partner Derek Hough.
The “Extra” host made her way into the ABC studios in black leggings, flats, a black leather jacket and a olive colored scarf while her DWTS partner went for a more preppy look in a mint green cardigan and a light colored pair of dress pants.
Although Maria caught herself in a whirwind of relationship rumors with Derek during their stint on the competition program, she assured GMA that she is still very much in a relationship with her longtime producer boyfriend, Keven Undergaro, saying, ?He?s amazing. Explaining the passionate kiss that she shared with Hough, the 33-year-old said, ?We were trying to figure out ? [Derek] was like, ?there is such a big buildup in the song, do you really want to [kiss], do you really want to [kiss]? I said, ?We should rip off your shirt,? and then I?m like, ?Hmm, not enough.? Even after a stress fracture in her right foot and injuries to her chin and ribs, Maria pushed through the competition week after week, telling GMA, ?This was a magical experience for me, to be able to learn how to dance and to be able to perform and be a part of this show was something I didn?t want to stop for anything. Does Demi Lovato Have ‘The X Factor’?
Experts break down Lovato’s casting on the Fox reality show to MTV News.

The world is still reacting to the now-confirmed news that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will sit together at the “The X Factor” judges table this fall. While their spots on the show remain among worst-kept secrets in recent memory, these two former Disney princesses will now set out to prove they are savvy enough to judge up-and-coming talent on the Fox competition series.
While L.A. Reid, Simon Cowell and Spears bring decades of experience with them to the show, Lovato, only 19, may seem too much like a rookie on the surface. But, she’s already amassed the kind of experience performers triple her age could wish for.
She’s released three albums, which have all landed top-five spots on the Billboard 200. She’s starred on the hit Disney series, “Sonny With a Chance” and was the female lead, alongside the Jonas Brothers, in both “Camp Rock” films, which were incredibly successful for the Mouse House.
All the success at such a young age makes Lovato a perfect pick for the show. “They’re looking for female pop singers who can engage a younger audience,” Monica Herrera, a senior editor at Rolling Stone, told MTV News. “Demi seems like a good choice because she hits not just music fans, but TV fans and I think they’re kind of trying to find somebody who can hit all angles.”
She may have tons of teenage Lovatics, but Keith Caulfield, associate director of charts/retail at Billboard, added that she still hasn’t yet permeated the adult market, which makes this the right time to make this move.
“I thought it was interesting choice just because, I mean, she is a star, but she seems a bit under the radar to a degree so this is a great look for her because it’s going to elevate her visibility and give her a whole new audience and a great platform to introduce new material,” he said. “I think it’s a great opportunity for her to really expand her fanbase. I think a lot of people are going to discover Demi for the very first time.”
And, that’s why, Herrera adds, she needs to strike while the iron is hot. “I think it’s definitely a smart move; I don’t think she can afford to wait at this point. I think that is kind of a way to jumpstart it and really get herself out there,” she explained. “Obviously she’s gonna want to put out an album timed to the fall show. She’ll have the team behind her to really kind of maximize this opportunity and put out a single and an album that will kind of get the lift that she really needs right now.”
Caulfield notes that Lovato will serve as the perfect answer to Spears. “Demi, considering her history and frankly her years of experience, she’s gone through the ringer,” he said. “Demi is probably going to have more realistic commentary, probably not harsh but probably coming from the point of view of ‘I did this before.’ Certainly her and Britney have the X factor, that something about them that makes them stars, it’s hard to pin down. I think it’s going to be good. I think they’re both interesting choices.”
So for anyone wondering if Lovato is still too young to mentor, well, Herrera says they should put those concerns aside. “I really think it does [help that she's young], especially since they are skewing younger and younger with the contestants. I think someone like Demi would have been perfect for someone like Rachel Crow [who competed last season]. She obviously knows what it’s like to be thrust into the spotlight in that way from a really young age,” she said. “I really think that she can be that guiding force.”

‘Teen Mom’ Returns June 12 For Explosive Final Season
Season will be last to feature original castmembers Amber, Catelynn, Farrah and Maci.

The ups and downs that come with growing up and being a young parent have captivated viewers of MTV’s “Teen Mom” for three seasons, but the upcoming fourth season, which premieres with two back-to-back episodes June 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, will be the last to feature the original cast — Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell.
While the televised story of these four young mothers, who first shared their stories in the first season of “16 and Pregnant,” and their struggle to navigate their teens and early twenties with toddlers in tow is coming to a close, the franchise will continue, with premiere dates for “Teen Mom 2″ and “Teen Mom 3″ to be announced at a later date.
“We’re incredibly thankful to these young women for bravely sharing their stories with our audience to help make an impact on teen pregnancy prevention,” said Lauren Dolgen, MTV’s senior vice president of series development. “This season will be an intense rollercoaster as we say goodbye to the cast who started it all — since the first season of ’16 and Pregnant,’ millions have tuned in to see the difficulties, joys and sorrows these young mothers have faced.”
The final season of “Teen Mom” promises to be as captivating as those that preceded it as Farrah strives for independence, moving with her daughter Sophia to Florida, Catelynn and her fiancé Tyler near graduation and continue to deal with the impact of their decision to put their daughter up for adoption, Amber is overwhelmed by her emotional struggles and turbulent relationship with Gary and enters rehab and Maci tries to strike a co-parenting balance with her ex Ryan while trying to move on with new boyfriend Kyle.

Jay-Z Says Jay Electronica Album Is ‘Really Close’

There’s nothing typical about Jay Electronica. In fact, many wondered how the enigmatic MC would fit in with the major-label system at all. Luckily for Jay Elec, his Roc Nation boss Jay-Z is sympathetic to the sensibilities of his creative spirit.
“I love that, I want to support that sort of energy. I want people to be creative and not traditional, not just a single [at] this time, this time [and] this time,” Jay-Z told MTV News on Monday, when he was in Philadelphia to announce his two-day Made in America music festival. “You know, he operates at his own time, but the album is really close.”
Hov announced in November 2010 that he signed Elect to his budding Roc Nation label. Jigga insisted then that his goal was to “reintroduce magic to hip-hop,” and a year and a half later, the God MC is still excited by the New Orleans rapping wizard.
Electronica has long hyped his official debut, Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn), with gleeful tweets, sending periodic updates on the LP’s progress. In March he messaged fans, stating that the wait was finally over and the album was complete, though he made no reference to any release date. “Dear Believers and Patient Supporters. Thank you for your patience and support. The Album will be turned in Tomorrow evening. The wait ends,” he tweeted.
Still, when it comes to the “Exhibit C” rapper’s sporadic music-release patterns, there is no telling. But Jay-Z assures us that there is an album and that it’s pretty damn good, if he does say so himself. “It’s exactly what it should be — it’s amazing. Him as a lyricist is almost scary. He’s scary good,” Jigga gushed. “I’m doing something to it that’s really untraditional, so we’ll see how it works.”

Will Black Keys Team Up With Ke$ha? First They Want Jim Nabors
The duo sat down with MTV News in Berlin to discuss a pair of unlikely collaborations.

<P>Theirs is a relationship that has spanned time and Twitter, <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/77286418598211584" target="_blank">seafood</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/157523381602889728" target="_blank">shaving</a>, but over the years, the unlikely bond between the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/black_keys/artist.jhtml">Black Keys</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/id_3213641/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> has grown to become something <i>more</i>: a genuine friendship, marked with the occasional trespassing charge.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Would The Black Keys Ever Collaborate With Ke$ha?" id="vid:731631.id:1678505" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>"We're friends with her, we've known her since way before she was famous, before she was even a singer, I guess," Keys drummer Patrick Carney told MTV News. "When she was 16 years old, she used to sneak into our shows. We kind of became friends with her by kicking her out of our backstage room, over and over again. She actually has snuck into shows in L.A., San Diego, Coachella …"</P><P>"She snuck in and [got] kicked out of one show, like, <i>five</i> times," frontman Dan Auerbach added. "[She] snuck in through the kitchen. I don't know if she's such a big fan; she just likes breaking the rules."</P><P>So, when MTV News sat down with the 'Keys in Berlin during the premiere of their <a href="/news/articles/1678662/black-keys-gold-on-the-ceiling-music-video.jhtml">"Gold on the Ceiling"</a> video, we had to ask if their friendship with Ke$ha would take the next step: an actual musical collaboration. It's not all that far-fetched, considering both Ke$h and Auerbach live in Nashville ("I see her every once in a while flying by in her T-Top [convertible]," Auerbach laughed), and recently, the glittery one has logged studio time with <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/160846424609787906" target="_blank">the Flaming Lips</a>. So, could we see a team-up on the next Black Keys album?</P><P>"I guess, I don't know," Carney said. "We don't really do that many collaborations, really."</P><P>OK, so if a Ke$ha collabo isn't in the cards, just who would the 'Keys like to work with next? Well, as it turns out, they've got their eyes set on landing a very big star for the next record … even if they mistakenly believe he's deceased.</P><P>"We both want to work with Jim Nabors very badly, but apparently he's not with us anymore," Carney said. Oh, <a href="http://www.jimnabors.com/" target="_blank">but he is.</a> Which means that, much like Nabors, the dream is alive. The Ke$ha collabo? Britney, Demi, Miley, Avril? We Rate Potential ‘X Factor’ Judges!
With Simon Cowell rumored to be courting a raft of pop princesses for season two, we grade the judges-to-be.

<P>By now, we're all aware that Simon Cowell is reloading. After largely firing blanks on the first season of "The X Factor," he cleared the chamber — casting off <a href="/news/articles/1678191/paula-abdul-exits-x-factor.jhtml">judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger</a> (not to mention host Steve Jones) — and is now in the process of lining up a collection of high-profile, hollow-point replacements with which to take down the competition.</P><P>Of course, just <i>who</i> Cowell ends up nabbing seems to be a matter of some speculation: His <a href="/news/articles/1682881/britney-spears-x-factor-deal.jhtml">$15 million deal with Britney Spears</a> appeared to be a near certainty, but in the weeks since it was first reported, there's been no movement. And now come rumors that he's courting the likes of <a href="/news/articles/1684289/demi-lovato-x-factor-judge-miley-cyrus.jhtml">Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne</a> to join the "X Factor" team. Are those names just part of a shrewd ploy from Cowell to get Spears to relent on her reported contract demands and insistences on "various perks"? Or is he truly determined to assemble an all-star lineup for the "Factor"? Really, your guess is as good as ours.</P><P><center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:632232/cp~vid%3D632232%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A632232" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center></P><P>Needless to say, we're not sure <i>who</i> will be joining the "X Factor" panel when the show returns later this year (though we suspect Fox may shed some light on the matter at an upfront event for ad buyers on May 14). So, in the meantime, we're just going to take a look at <i>all</i> of the potential judges, comparing their strengths and weaknesses in an attempt to help Cowell put together a potential Murderer's Row. Because we <i>want</i> the "X Factor" to succeed … lord knows we don't have enough singing competitions on TV at the moment.</P><P>Here's our no-holds-barred scouting report for each of the "X Factor" hopefuls:</P><P><big><b>Britney Spears</b></big><br> <b>Strengths</b>: Spears would instantly become the most famous judge on <i>any</i> U.S. singing competition (sorry Xtina!), therefore automatically raising the profile of a show in desperate need of a good boost. It's the rare combination of both a "career" and a "contemporary" artist, giving the show an answer to "Idol" 's Steven Tyler/ J. Lo combination <i>and</i> the four-headed monster of Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo and Blake Shelton on "The Voice." As a bonus, she would also fill the "rambling" slot vacated by Abdul, not to mention the "thousand-mile stare" void left when Scherzinger got the boot.</P><P><b>Weaknesses</b>: <link type="content" id="1579025">It's Britney</i>: Live TV may not exactly suit her.</P><P><big><b>Demi Lovato</b></big><br> <b>Strengths</b>: At just 19 years old, Lovato would give Cowell an in-road to the younger, Disney-fied demographic he so desperately craves. Can definitely sing (check her terrific tear-jerker <link type="content" id="1667271">"Skyscraper"</link> for proof), which automatically puts her ahead of something like 90 percent of her singing-competition contemporaries. Has the kind of <a href="/news/articles/1651297/demi-lovato-enters-treatment-center-leaves-tour.jhtml">harrowing backstory</a> that would automatically shut down any hard-luck contestants looking for a few pity points.</P><P><b>Weaknesses</b>: Older viewers might confuse her with Selena Gomez. Could also forget where she is, accidentally reenact that one episode of "Sonny with a Chance" when she's framed for stealing a necklace and subsequently fires a cheese cannon.</P><P><big><b>Miley Cyrus</b></big><BR> <b>Strengths</b>: An established star (with a <a href="/news/articles/1653979/miley-cyrus-caught-smoking-from-bong-on-video.jhtml">slightly checkered past</a>), which would give "X Factor" the kind of constant tabloid attention it failed to generate in season one. Has proven on songs like "The Climb" and her recent cover of Bob Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" that she's actually got a great voice, which, like Lovato, puts her in rarefied air. Could also use the show as a way of launching the next phase of her career, which would be mutually beneficial and might just spawn something like the certified "Voice" smash "Moves Like Jagger."</P><P><b>Weaknesses</b>: May currently be better known for her paparazzi coverage than her actual music. Might take another hit of salvia and confuse every male contestant with Liam.</P><P><big><b>Avril Lavigne</b></big><br> <b>Strengths</b>: Has been at it for a while now, has more genuine hits than anyone except Spears. She's also got <a href="/news/articles/1620572/avril-lavigne-guest-judge-idol-la.jhtml">previous judging experience</a> and seems to be genuinely concerned with her artistic integrity. And although her <i>Goodbye Lullaby</i> album didn't match the commercial heights of her previous efforts, you can't fault her for aiming high.</P><P><b>Weaknesses</b>: Preternaturally appears to be 14 years old. May always wear a hoodie during shows. Is constantly making the "sucking a lemon" face. Survivor One World Episode 13 Recap, The End of Tarzan!
We begin our recap of Survivor One World, Episode 13 on Night 33. The Tikiano Tribe has returned from Tribal Council after voting off Kat. The women seem giddy about it, but Tarzan, the last man left, is becoming more concerned about his own fate. He talks with Kim about the finals and tries to convince her that the Jury might support Chelsea or Sabrina over her. Tarzan thinks the men of the Jury will hate him since he helped betray the gender, and that the Jury has little love for either Alicia or Christina. Britney Spears Inks Deal With X Factor!
After what seems like months of speculation it appears that Britney Spears has finally signed a deal to be a judge on The X Factor. In the fall Spears will join Simon Cowell, L.A Reid and a yet to be named person at the judges table on The X Factor.. It is no secret that Simon has been working very hard to get Brit Brit to be a part of the Fox show. Although the first season was considered a success it did not bring in the ratings that American Idol, perhaps Britney will help change that. Although official details of the deal have not yet been releases US Weekly is reporting that allegedly Spears signed a $16 million dollar deal for just one season. If that is true then all I have to say is holy freaking moly that is a lot of cash for one season I sure hope Britney is worth it. Even though many media outlets are confirming the deal has been inked I must tell you that there has not been a peep about this from a rep for the singer, the show or Fox. E! The superstar added that there's one thing about her current act that her mother isn't a big fan of.</P><P>"She doesn't like when I swear," Gaga said, with her mother adding, "You're effective without it."</P><P>Another part of the candid chat also focused on Gaga's youth, during which she said she was frequently bullied. "There really is no difference between the bully and the victim," she said. "I would like to do a psychological autopsy on as many bullies and victims as possible … How do we understand what breeds hatred, what breeds anger?" She added that despite all "all the praise you receive, something inside of you is scarred by those experiences. … Sometimes I feel worthless." Parts of the special were also filmed at Harvard University last month.</P><P>The singer and the talk show host were on hand at the prestigious college to launch Gaga's <a href="/news/articles/1680176/lady-gaga-launches-born-this-way-foundation-harvard.jhtml"><i>Born This Way</i> Foundation</a>.</P><P>"I just have one thing to say before we get started: We got Oprah! … Thank you from all of us — from my entire team, from my mother, from the bottom of the hearts of so many people who believe in what we're doing today," Gaga said at the launch. She explained that the foundation seeks to empower the youth of America, adding, "How can we inspire young people to know they have the power to be brave?"</p>

Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ Success: What Can DC Comics Learn From It?
Marvel Studios tentpole flick provides the perfect template for DC Comics to emulate in their post-’Dark Knight’ movie endeavors.

“The Dark Knight Rises” marks the end of an era on multiple levels: Not only is it the grand finale of Christopher Nolan’s historic Batman film franchise, it’s also the last DC Entertainment movie that’s guaranteed to be a hit.
Sure, “Man of Steel” is just one year away, but what’s to say that it’ll fare better than “Superman Returns,” which earned a mere $200 million domestically? And even though a sequel is reportedly in development, “Green Lantern” didn’t exactly dazzle with its $116 million performance. Let’s face it: Without the box-office behemoth known as the “Dark Knight” trilogy in its back pocket, DC’s film future is uncertain at best.
Of course, it doesn’t have to be that way. Some of the greatest and most iconic characters in comic book history reside under the DC banner. And if there was any doubt that superheroes have box-office appeal, look no further than “Marvel’s The Avengers,” which is breaking records and winning over new fans with every passing day. There’s much to be learned from the House of Ideas’ approach to building a superhero universe on the big screen — and even though they’re on opposite sides of the aisle, and even if it’s a little bit late in the game, DC would be wise to utilize Marvel’s movie strategy … albeit with some tweaks.
Sting Away
“I’m here to talk to you about the Avengers initiative,” Nick Fury told Tony Stark at the end of 2008′s “Iron Man,” giving life to a shared Marvel movie-verse in one simple line of dialogue. Marvel is the master of using the post-credits stinger as a way to thread its movies together: “Iron Man 2″ teasing Thor’s hammer, the ending of “Thor” introducing the Cosmic Cube ahead of “Captain America,” the list goes on. DC’s earliest opportunity to apply the same idea is “Dark Knight Rises,” but as the conclusion of a finite trilogy, it doesn’t feel like the right place to get that particular ball rolling. They’d be wise to wait until “Man of Steel” flies into theaters in June 2013, ending Kal-el’s big-screen comeback with an overt nod toward an expansive cinematic DCU to come.
The World’s Finest
A “Man of Steel” stinger doesn’t have to set up “Justice League,” even if that’s the obvious route. It would be just as easy, and perhaps even wiser, to allude to the existence of Batman in the new Superman’s world. Nolan’s trilogy will be long gone by the time “Man of Steel” drops, and the world will be ready for another trip to Gotham City. But rather than fast-tracking a solo Batman adventure that has to live up to Nolan levels of hype, why not skip straight ahead to the long-anticipated “Superman/Batman” movie? The double-billing of Henry Cavill’s Man of Tomorrow and a new Caped Crusader would quickly gratify fans yearning for more Batman and Superman movies, as well as mark a major milestone in the creation of a shared DC universe without having to rush “Justice League” before it’s ready.
Back in a Flash
“Superman/Batman” is the quick response to “Avengers”; a movie that can get off the ground by late 2014 or early 2015. It would be much more challenging to create a worthy “Justice League” movie in that time frame. More characters need to be established first: “The Flash,” for example, is an easy yes for DC. “Green Lantern” sequels aren’t as much of a necessity; a “Justice League” movie could always push Ryan Reynolds’ Hal Jordan out of the picture in favor of another Lantern, like John Stewart or Kyle Rayner, introduced perhaps by way of a post-credits “Flash” scene. “Aquaman” and “Wonder Woman” movies would be nice as well, but the former is a hard sell, while the latter … well, let’s talk about the latter.
Hold the Wonder
I want a “Wonder Woman” movie as badly as anybody, but maybe it’s best to hold off until after “Justice League.” The reason: Hulk syndrome. Like Wonder Woman, Hulk has been a tricky character to pull off in live-action. But if there’s anything “Avengers” nailed perfectly, it’s “the Other Guy,” a hero that few got right before Joss Whedon and Mark Ruffalo came along. Surrounding him with other heroes gave him innumerable opportunities to shine, and now people want to see him alone in his own “Hulk” movie again. I foresee a similar situation with Wonder Woman: Any all-star “Justice League” movie would prove to the uninitiated just how big of a badass Wonder Woman really is, all but guaranteeing the demand for a post-”Justice” solo flick, Jade Giant-style.
Hire Joss Whedon
Just kidding … mostly. Above all else, the reason why “Avengers” works is because someone who knows, respects and cares about the characters was guiding the film. If DC decides to walk the road to “Justice League,” they need someone with Whedon levels of passion and knowledge, someone who can bring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the others together with the love and care they deserve.
They could also just try hiring Joss Whedon. Worked out pretty well for Marvel!

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/drake/artist.jhtml">Drake</a> started bubbling to the top of the music-industry surface around the same time. While Drake had already had a career on the small screen on "Degrassi: The Next Generation," it was his rap game that would solidify him as an international star. Just as Drizzy was trying to carve out his path in the world of hip-hop several years ago, Bieber began posting videos on YouTube under the moniker KidRauhl.</P><P>Somewhere along the way, the two got famous and became besties. And now, as Bieber nears the June 19 release of his new album, <a href="/news/articles/1684079/justin-bieber-believe-album-cover.jhtml"><i>Believe,</i></a> he explained what it's like to traverse the sometimes murky waters of celebrity with his friend by his side.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Usher Continues To Mentor Justin Bieber" id="vid:765694.id:1684329" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"I mean, it's crazy because we both are kind of going on the same journey on different sides of the world," the pop star told MTV News. "I think it's so cool because we kind of both get what each other go through and he's able to give me different pieces of advice and I'm able to tell him how to treat a lady. I'm just kidding."</P><P>While both have gained tons of fame and fortune, back in 2009 the hype around these two Canadians was at a fevered pitch. Bieber was readying the release of his buzzy debut, <i>My World,</i> and Drake was dropping his star-making EP, <i>So Far Gone.</i></P><P>While some have come and gone in the years since, the excitement hasn't quieted down around Bieber and Drake. In fact, as both performers gain more and more momentum in their careers, it seems their friendship has only grown stronger. For Bieber's next album, the pals decided to take their friendship to the next level with <a href="/news/articles/1678841/justin-bieber-drake-collab-believe.jhtml">a collaboration</a>.</P><P>"We talk about everything," Bieber said of their recording session. "He's a great guy and super-talented, and his melodies are crazy. When we go into the studio, he'll go in the booth and he'll do some melodies and we'll write. If I'm in the studio there's not really any time to mess around. Now, a few more rappers want to get dirty with the glittery pop singer.</P><P><a href="http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2011/10/t-i-andre-300-lil-wayne-wiz-khalifa-record-kesha-remix" target="_blank">XXLmag.com</a> reports that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/t_i_/artist.jhtml">T.I.</a> plans to jump on the track, and Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa will also be joining Andre and Tip on a new version of "Sleazy." Weezy should be a welcome addition to <a href="/news/articles/1651081/keha-gets-sleazy-on-new-cannibal-track.jhtml">Ke$ha's dance tune</a>, as it sounds somewhat like Wayne's single "A Milli." And while not much else is known about the remix, T.I. promised that he's going to go big with his verse.</P><P>"I haven't heard anybody but mine. … I'm gonna put my money on mine," the newly freed rapper, who <a href="/news/articles/1671950/ti_prison-release.jhtml">ended an 11-month prison sentence</a> in September, told the website.</P><P>The Andre 3000 remix dropped earlier this year and appears on K-Dollar Sign's album <i>Cannibal.</i> The guys will have a lot of swagger to compete with because when Andre appeared on the first remix, he had this to say: "We start out so cute in our baby pictures/ That mama shot for our daddy so that he wouldn't forget you/ He forgot anyway, but hey, one day he'll remember/ If not, he's human, I'm human, you human, we'll forgive him/ I call her Keisha, she like it because it's 'hood to her/ She call me Andre 6000 because I'm good to her."</P><P>Tip told XXLmag.com that his appearance on the Ke$ha song is just one of many remixes he's amped about. He has also worked on remixes for Meek Mill and Rick Ross's "Ima Boss," as well as Jay-Z and Kanye West's <i>Watch the Throne</i> song "N—as in Paris."</P><P>"I'm looking for some more records to jump on," he said. ‘Glee’ Star Chris Colfer Teases Michael Jackson Tribute Episode

<P>Fox's song-and-dance series "Glee" is no stranger to a star-studded cameo or two, with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, John Stamos and Kristin Chenoweth all walking the halls of McKinley High during the past two and a half seasons. And as the show returns from a month-long hiatus, Gleeks aren't the only ones anticipating a few more famous faces. As star Chris Colfer told MTV News on the Golden Globes red carpet, there's plenty to look forward to when New Directions warble again January 17.</P><P>"Well, the Michael Jackson episode …," Colfer answered when asked about his most-anticipated upcoming episodes. "We have a Spanish episode coming up with Ricky Martin. The actor/singer recently <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/ricky_martin/status/155141894333140993" target="_blank">tweeted</a> a joyful picture from his first day on set.</P><P>As to how the King of Pop's prolific songbook will manifest itself in the January 31 tribute episode, Colfer explained, "Well, I sing part of 'Black [or] White.' I'm the 'White' in 'Black [or] White,' and I sing 'Ben,' that famous song he wrote for the rat."</P><P>The rodent in question is the pet of a young boy named Danny in the 1972 film "Ben." Jackson sang a version of the theme song that appeared in the movie's closing credits and was later included on his 1972 album also named <em>Ben</em>. AWOLNATION Still The ‘Underdog’ On Next Album
‘There’s a little chip on my shoulder,’ frontman Aaron Bruno tells MTV News of writing the follow-up to the band’s Megalithic Symphony.

AWOLNATION’s Aaron Bruno already knows how he wants the follow-up to his band’s breakout (and epically titled) Megalithic Symphony album to sound. The key now is finding the time to actually write it.
“I think the next record will be a little more raw, and a little more aggro, and a little stranger, but still have the nursery-rhyme feel of melody, because that’s the only way I know how to write,” he told MTV News. “I’m working on it now [while the band is on tour] and, really, it’s the only thing keeping me sane. Every day I wake up, and I’m so excited to first of all find a shower, and then have a coffee, and then do a couple of other things that I probably can’t mention, and then open up the computer and just see what happens. … It’s a nice break from the routine [of] playing the same old songs, meeting the same people, waking up at the same venues, same parking lots across the country.”
Yes, such is life for AWOLNATION, who went from relative unknowns to rock-radio monsters based on a relentless tour schedule and the strength of hit singles “Sail” and “Not Your Fault.” Since bursting onto the radar, Bruno has seemingly spent every waking minute on the road, and it doesn’t look like that will change much anytime soon (AWOL are currently touring until the end of July). So needless to say, he’s itching to break the cycle and get into the studio to begin work on the new album. And no, he’s not about to shy away from the expectations that come with following a hit album.
“I got a little chip on my shoulder with the songwriting and I’ve got a lot to say about the world, so there’s a little bit of a fist on this new record that I’m excited about,” he said. “I’ve always been the underdog my whole life, and the guys in my band, we all came up in the same situation, so this success is totally new and foreign for us, so I want to maintain the hunger of being the underdog and never feel complacent with the success and always want to reach more ears. Not necessarily to make money, but because I feel the music’s important.”
And while Bruno’s relishing the opportunity to prove the naysayers wrong, he’s also trying to stop and appreciate just how far his band has come. Of course, given his nature, that’s proving to be easier said than done.
“All of this seems like a joke to me. It doesn’t seem real. I wake up every day and I have to remind myself … this is really happening, it’s OK to enjoy it,” he laughed. “But I’ve had a hard time doing that because I’m constantly focused on the next thing.”

If Justin Bieber Is Your ‘Boyfriend,’ Ying Yang Twins Can Be ‘Your Man’
‘Boyfriend’ remixers have nothing but praise for teen crooner and comparisons to their ‘Wait (The Whisper Song).’

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>'s <a href="/news/articles/1684836/justin-bieber-boyfriend-remix-ying-yang-twins.jhtml">"Boyfriend"</a> got the remix treatment from rap duo the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/ying_yang_twins/artist.jhtml">Ying Yang Twins</a> this week. The twosome dropped their take on the singer's single late Wednesday, amping up the song's sexiness with their signature sense of innuendo.</P><P>Playing on the song's title, the Twins (D-Roc and Kaine) note on their verses that while Bieber is offering up his services as your boyfriend, they're a little older and a little wiser and want to be your older sister's man. When MTV News spoke to D-Roc on Thursday (May 10), he talked a little bit about wanting to have fun with the Mike Posner/ Mason Levy-produced track.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ying Yang Twins 'Complimented' Bieber Back With 'Boyfriend' Remix" id="vid:767914" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"He want to be your boyfriend, but I want to be your <i>man.</i> I'm grown. I'm good and grown," he said. "I've been through that boyfriend/girlfriend stage, but you know, he's going through that, so that's what complemented the track too. It's like, 'OK, I want to be your man. I don't want to be your boyfriend. I'm bigger than the boyfriend.' But that's Justin Bieber, so if you got a little sister, Justin Bieber want to be her boyfriend."</P><P>D-Roc was also inspired to remix the track after many music fans had noted comparisons between Bieber's song and the Twins' 2005 hit "Wait (The Whisper Song)." "Before Justin Bieber actually had dropped the song, the hype around it, everybody was calling me saying, 'Hey, man, did y'all hear the Justin Bieber song?' I was so amped up to hear the song too. When I actually did, I listened to it and I was like, it sounded like us. He complimented us," he said. "So I wanted to compliment him by getting on it.</P><P>"It was there," he added of the comparisons. "But the thing about it is, for him to step out for the first time rapping and we was the first compliment that he gave, I felt like that young man is on job. And he did it well. It made a statement to me like, 'OK, he just trying to grow up,' and with him growing up, like, he want y'all to take him as he's grown. 'I'm 18. I'm grown now. I can do my own thing.' And what better lane, and he picked us, and I feel like that was a compliment and to compliment him back, I wanted to do the remix."</P><P>While D-Roc has yet to meet the singer, he has high praise for him. "He's a very talented young man," he said. "Like, to have as many talents as he knows how to do, you know, it's like he's a threat. He's gonna come in, and they better watch out for the young man, 'cause the young man got something to bring to the table."</P><P>Bieber will drop his highly anticipated album, <a href="/news/articles/1684079/justin-bieber-believe-album-cover.jhtml"><i>Believe,</i></a> on June 19. And these days she says the thing that makes her feel most beautiful is her baby girl, Blue Ivy.</P><P>"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," Beyoncé told the magazine. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."</P><P>Beyoncé continues to gush about her baby girl, saying, "She's just the cutest thing," adding that she makes up songs to sing just to Blue Ivy. When asked which of her parents the baby resembles more, B responded, "She looks like Blue. She's her own person."</P><P>While Beyoncé is focused on her "love" of changing diapers these days, she is prepping to get back to work. But she seems to feel her greatest achievement is baby Blue. "The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," she explained. Kristen Stewart Wants To Be A ‘Better Person’ Like Snow White
‘She’s truly bleeding for other people,’ ‘Snow White and the Hunstman’ star says on ‘MTV First’ about her character.

Kristen Stewart puts her inner action star on full display as the butt-kicking Snow White in “Snow White and the Huntsman.” But, it’s her vulnerability that Stewart related to most with the chainmail-wearing princess.
“I think that I related to Snowy because … I love her,” she laughed to MTV News during “MTV First: Snow White and the Hunstman” on Tuesday night. “She feels such strong things and sort of can’t say exactly why she feels those things … and I can completely relate to that and I also can relate to feeling arrogant about it a little bit. Sort of like ‘It’s not about being who you are; it’s sort of not saying what everyone thinks I’m going to say because I’m uncomfortable’ … She’s like very instinctive and sort of awesome in that way.”
Having already brought to life one literary heroine playing “Twilight” leading lady Bella Swan, she explained that she didn’t feel pressure to have to tackle Snow White, mostly because there was enough room for her to interrupt the character the way she felt was natural.
“I mean she’s such a child in the beginning and has such a strong sense of self in a way that sort of isn’t normal, like supernaturally almost,” she said. “She’s got this connection to the Earth and to her people that makes her like so truly empathetic and not sympathetic.
“She’s not putting herself in a position and going, ‘Oh, how horrible would that be for me.’ She’s truly bleeding for other people,” she said. “It’s a different feeling. It’s something I want to get to if I can be a better person. She’s a great girl. She’s a good person.”
“Snow White and the Huntsman,” which also stars Charlize Theron (who plays the evil queen Ravenna), Chris Hemsworth (The Huntsman) and Sam Claflin (the charming Prince William), hits theaters June 1.

“American Idol” Recap: Final Four Performances
Just two weeks away from the season 11 finale of “American Idol,” the top four contestants took the stage to sing their hearts out on Wednesday night’s (May 9) episode.
This time around, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Hollie Cavanagh treated viewers to tunes all about California and inspiration.
For the first round, the contestants were told to sing their rendition of a song about California or a song written by a Cali artist. For round two, the final four chose a song that was so inspirational to them that they would have loved to claim it as their own.
During the Golden Gate centered first round, Phillip offered up his version of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” as well as a duet with Ledet of Maroon 5′s “This Love.” After their paired performance, Steven Tyler gave a rave review, calling the stage effort “brilliant” and “perfect.”
Meanwhile, Hollie chose to go for Journey’s “Faithfully” with Joshua Ledet opting for Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up,” for which he received praiseful reviews.
Finishing out the first round’s performances was Jessica with her rendition of Etta James’ “Steal Away,” after which Randy Jackson called the rendition “ridiculous.” Sanchez also took part in a duet with Cavanagh of the Bangles’ track “Eternal Flame”.
As the second round got underway, all of the contestants turned to inspiration as Phillip took to the stage first while getting rave reviews after he showed off his version of Damien Rice’s “Volcanoes”.
Not receiving such positive comments was Hollie, who opted to show her inspiration via Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” – which ended up seeming like a wrong choice by Randy and didn’t seem to be Jennifer Lopez’s favorite either, as she said, “A little too much vibrato, too much shaking.”
Next in line, Joshua landed some of the best responses of the night for his performance of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.” After finishing up, the judges were on their feet in praise with positive remarks including one from Tyler, who gushed, “I can go home right now! I’ve never heard anything like that in my life!”
Closing out the night was Jessica with a rendition of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” – with the quartet of remaining “Idol” hopefuls to be whittled down to three on Thursday night’s results show airing at 8pm ET on Fox.
